Therapy Services

The relationship between client and therapist is an important one. Choosing a therapist whom you are comfortable with is an essential part of this relationship. I am available for a free phone consultation and/or brief email exchange to answer any questions that you may have about this process and my practice.

Another important part of choosing a therapist is to have an understanding of how they approach their work with you, as well as their areas of experience and specialization. The therapy process differs for everyone, as does the amount of visits necessary to address your concerns. Once a therapy contract is in place, my commitment is to stay in conversation with you regarding how the therapy process and schedule is going for you.

My work has been influenced by many sources, chief among them are ideas from the narrative therapy perspective and family systems ideas. These ideas hold that people are the experts of their own lives, and that identity is formed through relationships and community. I collaborate with you to discover more about your values, commitments, hopes, and dreams.
